The Forsa Trade Union office project involves the merging and restoration of three buildings. This project aims to create an office space open to public use. The four-story building includes a café, an auditorium, a business hub, hot desks, a youth center, a sports center, and office space for the Forsa team.

Concept Statement:

Forsa brand revealed a recurring significance of the number six, evident in the number of offices, divisions, and lines in the Forsa symbol. This led to the creation of a six-tier
organizational structure, inspired by the golden ratio. The hexagon, representing geometric harmony, was used as the foundational shape. By decomposing the hexagon into three-dimensional forms, a modular box design was developed, emphasizing the importance of bending and three-dimensionality. This modular box became the initial design unit.

The initial unit was refined by incorporating the arched opening and T-shaped intersection, which became a prominent design motif. This element is featured in the café area, symbolizing the modular box. Six such units are positioned throughout the building, with floors made of marble reflecting the bright blue of the nearby river. The circulation paths are designed with timber, conceptualized as bridges. Each unit is rendered in a unique shade of green plaster, creating a distinctive contrast against the grey concrete and red brick of the overall structure.

In summary, the design concept for the Forsa Trade Union Office restoration integrates historical architectural elements with modern design principles, inspired by both the existing building's features and the Forsa brand's numerical symbolism. This approach ensures a cohesive and dynamic environment that bridges tradition and innovation.
